Guineafowl are lively birds with black feathers and white spots. They are seen walking about in family groups. Guineafowl can only fly a very short distance.
We use only the best quality genuine Ostrich eggs from Oudtsthoorn which is the hot, dry heart of Ostrich farming in South Africa. A limited range of images from original oil paintings (copyright) are transferred using a Decoupage technique onto the drained and cleaned eggs. Finishing touches with paint are done by hand so that the final product is a work of art. Images are the same on both sides of the egg.
The stands are made from wood and are hand carved in Africa.
The Ostrich are eggs are about 14 cm high, 12 cm wide with a circumference of 36 cm. There are slight variation in the size of the eggs because they are a natural product.
All eggs are packed in custom made cardboard boxes
